My American colleague (one of the bosses actually) saw me writing using my left hand. "I didn't know you're left-handed." It was followed by the left handedness urban legends, that left handers are artistic, creative, intelligent, geniuses, to which I humbly replied, "No." "Or maybe you're like Napoleon Dynamite," he added. Huh?! He said it's an American movie. I really don't have any idea so I just told him I'll try to look it up. The main plot involves the protagonist, Napoleon Dynamite, a socially clumsy, boring and shy high school student with a passion for drawing and telling implausible fantasy-like stories, and several going-ons in his dull life (mine is not so dull). He's a stereotypical teenaged geek who enjoys mundane diversions such as drawing creatures such as ligers (which he describes as pretty much his favorite animal, a cross between a lion and a tiger, bred for its skills in magic), drinking milk, eating Tater Tots, and playing tetherball. Duh! you we're saying? As I scour the net for more answers, I came across another left handedness myth. Lefties are clumsy. I'm not clumsy (my girlfriend will definitely disagree) nor am I a creative genius, I am Napoleon Dynamite. (",)
