When you're flying to Singapore, your point of entry will be the Changi Airport, located at the eastern tip of the main island. It is considered to be one of the world's busiest airport and is also said to be one of the largest aviation hub in the whole of Asia.It currently has 3 terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and the Budget Terminal which opened in 2006. Another terminal, Terminal 3, is set to open in 2008. The terminal will have 28 aerobridge gates, with eight capable of handling the gigantic Airbus A380, the largest passenger airline to date. Singapore Airlines, is the launch customer of the A380, making them the "First to Fly" the new jetplane. The first A380 is expected late this year.
Moving between terminals is easy. Terminals 1 and 2 are linked by the skytrain, while the Budget Terminal has a free shuttle service to Terminal 2. Changi Airport is connected to the Mass Rapid Transit network with an underground station in Terminal 2. There are also public transport bus terminals at the basement of both Terminals 1 & 2. Taxi stands are located at the arrival halls.
If you're coming from the Philippines by PAL, and the sumptuous in-flight meal still didn't fill you up, there are several food outlets in all terminals. You can already have a taste of local dishes upon your arrival. At the Budget Terminal, you can go to the arrival hall and check out Han's Cafe. Try the kaya toast and Singapore kopi!

Anyway I also heard from others that that airport really IS beautiful...
a very small country yet succeeding steadily...
oh yes, i am very impressed with the Changi Airport. the past 10 years that i have been traveling i would always find myself transiting in singapore. and i would always ask myself--why? why? are the singaporeans blessed with such efficient, clean, modern and busy airport, while ours is such a miserable one.
I agree in everything u said about changi airport. Its my favorite airport so far. The airport is a destination in itself.
