It's back to the office for 30-year-old Filipino landscape designer Robert Sunga. He was eliminated in the Singapore talent search Live the Dream.
Entered in the soloist division, Robert performed the song Superstar by the Carpenters. He was dazzling onstage, in an all white suit, and the audience was clearly captivated by his moving and silky vocals. Though he impressed judge Dick Lee who tagged him the ‘office worker turned superstar’, the votes weren’t impressive enough to save the from elimination.
After the show Robert said, “I still feel great, still on high spirits. I think I lack supporters’ votes, but I still feel grateful to all my fans and supporters.”
“I think I’ll get back to my normal life, get back to the office and do work. For me, it’s been a great experience. If I were in the Philippines, I wouldn’t be in the spotlight like this.”
